I have 42 acres of mountain land in Washington County, TN. This property extends 1 mile from hwy 107 back into the Cherokee National Forest and the Unaka Bear Reserve.
I have been using this property to do "swap hunts" for the past few years. I have swapped bear archery hunts for gulf fishing trips, deer hunts on private land in Illinois and Kentucky as well as several friends and family taking bears. Also there have been 2 large bucks taken this year. One was a 10 pt scoring 145 and I also took an 11 pt that scored around 140 it was 3 years ago.
If you are interested in archery bear hunting, you can't beat this property since it joins the bear reserve there are numerous bears using this land from May until December, a friend of mine had opportunities 3 out of 4 evenings this fall. There are 3 permanent stands on the property and one shooting house overlooking the food plot. Turkeys are plentiful and a few grouse.
From the upper portion of the property you can see 38 miles to the North and West overlooking the Nolichuckey river valley. I have a lease on 60 adjoining acres that really makes this property secluded and that lease can possibly be transferred if you are interested. At the lower part of the property there is about 1.5 acres of grassland that is being used for picnics and parking. I have graded a spot for a picnic pavilion and have the building ready to be constructed.
